backspinz ("we", "us", "our") lets you turn your cover art and a short song clip into a spinning vinyl video you can download and share on social media. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email address when you register (or the profile info shared by Google when you sign in with Google).
- Uploaded content: the image and audio files you upload to create a video. Source files are processed to render your video and are then deleted from our servers.
- Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe processes them securely on our behalf.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (such as job status and email delivery logs) needed to operate the service.
3. How we use your data
- To create, render and deliver your vinyl videos.
- To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
- To send you transactional emails (welcome, receipts, download links and invites) via Resend.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
4. Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to run backspinz: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, and Google for optional sign-in. Each processes data under their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
Uploaded source files are removed after your video is rendered. Rendered videos and download links expire after a limited period. Account and billing records are kept as long as your account is active or as required by law.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You can also ask us to delete your account and associated data.
